EuroCIS: information systems and security in trade
The world's largest IT trade fair, the EuroCIS opened on Tuesday in Düsseldorf.
– Trade is one of the engines of information technology development. On the EuroCIS, 190 market leader companies from 22 countries, will show how their new and modern solutions work in practice – said dr. Bernd Hallier, the Director of the European Trade Institute, and Chairman of the Professional Advisory Board, on the first day of the exhibition.
Canon, GS1, Honeywell, IBM, Motorola, NCR, SAP, Toshiba, and Wincor Nixdorf, also represents at the Düsseldorf Fair – reportsTrade Magazin’s correspondent Bajai István.
Michael Degen, Head of Department of Messe Dusseldorf presented several interesting novelties at hall 14, to the representatives of the international press. He expects that, while this year 26 less companies were issued compared to last year, the number of visitors will reach last year’s 5300 visitors, during the three days of the fair.
