NAV detected a cooking oil dealer criminal organization
The cooking oil dealer criminal organization caused more than 300 million forints damage to the budget. The members of the organization were detained by the investigators of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV).
NAV wrote in a statement to MTI on Tuesday that it was suspected that a man from Kecskemét purchased cooking oil from Romania, which was sold mainly to Hungarian restaurants and bakeries. The VAT was hacked by several methods. He used a network of fictitious invoices consisting of not only Hungarian, but Czech, Slovakian, Polish and Romanian companies. (MTI)
