Art of food
…but not food styling this time. For example, designers working for an entity called Obacchi Jacket Lunch Box and calling themselves “food hackers” have redesigned the covers of several dozens of rock LP-s using meat, fish, vegetables and spices. In any case, they have succeeded in drawing attention to bento. Painted tortilla is another gastro-cultural pearl which has generated substantial publicity. These are decorated by artists with their impressions about just about anything. The idea was conceived in the 70’s by José Montoya, a Mexican artist and developed further by Joe Bravo, a painter from Los Angeles when he run out of money for buying canvas.
