Retail sales of food saw a 4 percent growth in terms of value
Retail sales of food saw a 4 percent growth in terms of value from December 2010 to September 2011, as compared to the previous year – a new suvey by Nielsen market research company stated.
In terms of volume, instore sales are stable in this ten-month comparision. This means that traffic grew together with prices, customers did not opt for purchasing less food than in the previous year.
