52 percent of Hungarian households feel that their financial situation has worsened in the last 2-3 years, while a year earlier this proportion was still 44 percent. “According to the survey, there are more and more people who have savings, more than 85 percent of respondents said so. As a result of the crises of recent years, the coronavirus epidemic, and the uncertain situation caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war, the proportion of those who said that they had no savings decreased”
– said László Harmati, Erste’s deputy general manager responsible for the residential area.
