The seasonally adjusted value of the Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) for September is 59.3.
Compared to the previous September, this year’s value exceeds the long-term September average (52.3) and the average of the last three years (54.3) as well.
Most of the sub-indices examined in the survey have increased, compared to August, but in just two cases exceeded 4 percentage points.
The employment index remained above 50.0 points in September as well. The values of 2016 showed a growth rate of seven to five.
