The Conscious Consumer Index has strengthened
The latest Conscious Consumer Index (TVI) of Kirakat.hu and Ipsos slightly increased in the first half of 2009. The loyalty index toward Hungarian products has increased a lot, but consumers are still not aware with their rights.
The Conscious Consumer Index shows that the consciousness of the purchases slowly, but steadily increasing. Consumers are paying more attention to the prices because of the crisis, and more often inquire carefully before buying.
The Kirakat.hu and the Ipsos research shows that consumers' rights knowledge level is still low. The greatest progress has been made compared to the 2008 index, that the loyalty index toward Hungarian products has increased with 8 percent to 60 percent – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
