Shoe care brands are strong
The Nielsen Retail Index registered 13 percent lower value sales in shoe care product retail, while volume sales were 20 percent lower in comparison with the previous year. Average price per packaging unit was 8 percent higher at HUF 341 than in the last November-December period. Private labels’ share fell from 8 to 4 percent. Liquid shoe care products realised 46 percent of sales.
