Strong brands among fruit yoghurts

Fruit yoghurt is one of the largest food categories. According to data from the Retail Index of Nielsen, retail sales were up 7 per cent by April 2007 compared to a year ago, reaching HUF 25 billion. Larger than 400 square meter stores accounted for two-thirds of the total quantity sold and their market share continues to grow. Private labels are rare in this category, with a market share of only 12 per cent in terms of quantity.
