Tesco reported a strong half year
The Tesco reported its semi-annual results in a report published in London. Tesco reports a “strong progress” in the transformation process. According to the UK’s largest retail network, the profitability of the company has improved significantly in the Central European region.
According to an interim report from the first half of Tesco’s business year 2017-2018, group-level sales increased by 3.3 percent to 25.2 billion pounds (almost 9,000 billion forints).
Group-level operating income excluding single items was 759 million pounds, at the current exchange rate 27.3 percent higher, compared to the same period of last year. (Kertész Róbert, MTI)
