Tesco announcing results

Gross total revenues of Tesco-Global Áruházak Zrt. grew to HUF 544 billion in the fiscal year 2006. They have opened 6 stores so far this year and they are planning to open another 7 hyper markets,11 supermarkets and 2 petrol stations till the end of the year. By the end of the fiscal year 2007, the number of hyper markets will reach 78, that of supermarkets 47, while there will be 50 petrol stations. Net revenues of the Tesco group in Europe grew by 19 per cent to GBP 6,3 billion in 2006, while profit grew by 17 per cent to GBP 318 million.
