The rise in construction industry makes the hotel market in the capital difficult to expand
New chains will enter the hotel market in Budapest, but the rise in construction prices and capacity shortages may hinder expansion – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
A hotel inauguration was held in the Meininger Budapest Great Market Hall behind the Fővám tér, where the result of a 11-year-old hotel investment was celebrated.
The Bedori Investment company’s CEO Apáthy Zoltán told the Világgazdaság that the downtown hotel project was realized from six billion forints, the building permit was already available in 2012 for the building designed by the Hunter Architect Studio. Based on the agreement concluded in 2015 the operator became the Meininger group. (vg.hu)
