EOS: Hungarians pay 78 percent of the bills on time
78 percent of bills are paid on time by Hungarian clients, 18 percent are settled late and 4 percent are never paid at all, which is consistent with last year’s data – Krasznai Tamás, EOS Hungary’s head of uncovered debt management, said describing a recent study.
Hungary participated in a survey of 17 countries for the 7th time this year.
Krasznai Tamás emphasized that in 2019 Hungarian companies were billed with an average payment period of 37 days, similarly to the last five years. Meanwhile, the average payment deadline for European companies has fallen from 37 to 33 days. (MTI)
