Kopint-Tárki slightly worsened its GDP growth forecast for this year
She said that inflation is expected to be 8.7 percent in 2022, the institute calculates, with upside risks. She called accelerating inflation the main threat.
She indicated that the forecast would take little account of the possible abolition of official prices for household energy and fuels, as they assumed it was unlikely that world market prices would be “one-sided and full” in household prices. (MTI)
