Sentix’s eurozone investor sentiment index deteriorated slightly in October
After five months of improvement, the Sentix Frankfurt Economic Research Institute’s eurozone investor sentiment index deteriorated slightly in October, signaling growing concerns about a jump in the number of people infected with the coronavirus.
According to a survey published on Sentix’s website, the eurozone investor sentiment index fell 0.3 points to minus 8.3 points. The market expected a slightly worse-than-actual value, minus 9.5 points, for October.
Of the two components of the indicator, the assessment of the current situation has improved, but the future outlook has deteriorated. (MTI)
