Energy drinks: Japanese people invented it 60 years ago, and this year Hungarians founded the world day
In 1962, exactly 60 years ago, the hard-working Japanese created the drink that they still consume today when they need a quick boost of energy or alertness. Since then, the first version has been followed by countless versions around the world, and there is almost no country where one of these cannot be found on store shelves. And perhaps it owes its unbroken success to the fact that it still offers exactly what every consumer expects. ENERGY and AWARENESS. Perhaps many people have already guessed that we celebrate energy drink day on December 21.
It’s hard to find a day in the calendar when we don’t celebrate something’s world day, since almost everything already has a day. That is why it is surprising that the product, which has indisputably and deservedly achieved enormous success in almost all countries of the world over the course of more than half a century, has not had it until now.
That’s why we launched Energy Drinks Day this year, and it’s no accident that the choice was made on December 21st. This is the longest night of the year – when we need the most energy to stay awake or awake. This is the day when we can open our favorite energy drink with great gratitude and joy, because we can be sure that the two main things, ENERGY and ALERTNESS, which we expect from a real energy drink – we will get, said the general secretary.
