I am green, what about YOU?
As of 1 July 2021 a new law regulates the distribution of in-store plastic bags. However, it is still the consumer who decides which option they choose when shopping.

Single-use biopolymer bags are biodegradable and by composting valuable biomass can be produced from them. Biodegradable/compostable products are made of raw material from renewable sources – corn, potatoes, wheat and sugar. Hungary alone produces as much wheat and corn that 11 percent of it would be enough to satisfy the world’s PLA needs until 2023. Biopolymer packaging is actually cheaper than polyethylene in-store bags, as the authorities are imposing a HUF 1,900/kg environmental tax on the latter. BS PlasticTM has more than 10 years of experience in developing and manufacturing biodegradable/compostable packaging material and in-store bags. Our partners can choose from a wide range of bags, roll bags, bin liners and carrier bags. (x)
