A special memorial plaque was inaugurated on Wednesday in Erzsébetváros, Budapest, in honor of the kosher cuisine – Vattamány Zsolt, mayor of Erzsébetváros told M1 News Channel on Wednesday.

The mayor stressed that Erzsébetváros has a strong cultural heritage, a large segment of this is the Jewish cultural heritage, including the Jewish gastronomy. He added that in the first half of the last century, Erzsébetváros had a rich gastronomy life and many kosher restaurants were operating. (MTI)
