Wreath laying at the memorial plaque
Every year the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI), the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism (MKVM) and the Gundel family remembers János Gundel with a wreath laying ceremony at his memorial plaque on Akadémia Street. In his speech MVI president László Kovács spoke about the role of János Gundel in the creation of modern Hungarian hospitality and tourism. On behalf of the family BGE professor Dr János Gundel talked about his ancestor’s achievements. //
