Consumer prices increased in the euro area and in the EU in September
Consumer prices increased in the euro area and in the European Union in September for the fourth consecutive month in an annual comparison.
According to data published by Eurostat on Monday, consumer prices inreased by 0.4 percent in both the euro area and in the European Union in September. In a monthly comparison the increase was 0.4 percent in the euro zone and 0.2 percent in the EU. The figures are in line with analysts' expectations. (MTI)
