Consumer prices increased in the euro zone and in the EU in August
Consumer prices in August increased by 0.2 percent in the euro zone and by 0.3 percent in the European Union in annual comparision – European Union statistical office (Eurostat) announced on Thursday.
According to the final data, consumer prices in August increased by both in the EU and in the euro zone by 0.1 percent in monthly comparison.
In July, consumer prices in the EU and in the euro zone both grew by 0.2 percent in annual comparision while in June by 0.1-0.1 percent. (MTI)
