Rising revenues at Carrefour
Carrefour, the world’s second largest retailer group, increased its sales by 4.2 percent in the third quarter this year, compared tio the same period of the previous year – according to the company’s press release on Friday.
The company cited boosted sales in Latin American markets as the reason for the increase.
From July to September, Carrefour’s sales stood at 21.5 billion euros (24.4 billion U.S. dollars), due to an “accelerating organic growth in Europe, notably in Spain and Italy, and excellent performance in Latin America”. (MTI)
