Prices of table and feed wheat rise
According to Stratégie Grains in June, the spot market price of 13 percent protein milling wheat in Germany rose by $8 to $292/ton between May 9 and June 5. The July export price (FOB) of milling wheat arriving in Rouen fell by $9 to $231/ton and by $2 to $233/ton in September, while the October export price increased by $8 to $248/ton.

The spot export price (FOB) of 11.5 percent protein milling wheat produced in Russia was $222/ton (-$18), while that of 13.5 percent protein was $242/ton (-$23) at the same time.
In Romania, 12.5 percent protein milling wheat was purchased for $250/ton (+$5, FOB) during the observed period
At the same time, the spot export price (FOB Gulf) of soft red winter wheat (SRW) in the USA increased by $1 to $223/ton, and that of hard red winter wheat (HRW) with 11 percent protein increased by $10 to $238/ton. In Argentina, the spot export price of the crop was $5 lower ($233/ton) on June 5. The spot market price (FOB) of Australian hard white milling wheat (ASW) decreased by $3 to $237/ton since May 9, while that of premium hard white milling wheat (APW) remained unchanged at $260/ton. The spot port price of feed wheat from Ukraine was $220/ton (-$15) at the beginning of June.

According to AKI PÁIR data, in Hungary, table wheat was traded at an average producer price of HUF 79.3 thousand/ton excluding VAT and transport costs in the first week of June. This price level exceeded the previous year by 12 percent. Feed wheat was traded at a producer price of HUF 78.1 thousand/ton (+4 percent) at the same time. The July quotation of wheat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME/CBOT) fluctuated in the range of $193–204/ton between June 2 and 13. At the same time, the September settlement price of the crop on the Paris Commodity Exchange (Euronext/MATIF) was between 199 and 205 euros/ton.
