The export of rapeseed rose
According to Tallage, the spot export (FOB) price of canola seed delivered to the western border in Ukraine increased by $10 to $365/ton between February 16 and March 15. In Russia, the spot market price of the crop rose by $33 to $408/ton.
In Canada, the canola spot port price (FOB Vancouver) was higher by $38 ($496/ton), and the August and November prices were both $30 ($503 and $508/ton) higher in the indicated period. In Australia, spot delivery (FOB) canola prices rose $18 to $462/t at the same time. In India, the crop traded at $664/ton (+$13) on March 15.
According to AKI PÁIR data, the producer price of rapeseed without VAT and transport costs was HUF 154.5 thousand/ton (-18 percent) in the third week of March. On the Paris commodity exchange (Euronext/MATIF), the May settlement price of rapeseed was in the range of 438-457 euros/ton between March 15 and 28.
