Diverse data on the results of Czech agriculture last year

Last year, the profit of Czech agriculture increased by 2.8 percent to 17.7 billion crowns (247.8 billion forints), the Czech Statistical Office said in Prague on Thursday. The value of Czech agricultural production increased by 4.1 percent to 147 billion crowns.
According to the analysis of the statisticians, the increase in production is mainly due to crop production, the output of the sector increased by 6.8 percent to 85.3 billion crowns last year. Livestock, on the other hand, fell by 0.4 per cent year-on-year, requiring support of 32.8 billion crowns. This is 1.9 billion crowns more than in 2019, writes the report of the statistical office.
