Egri csillag wine festival for the first time
The first Egri csillag wine festival, named after the Egri csillag (Star of Eger) wine, which is the white pair of the bull’s blood will be held on 8 April, in the castle of Eger – was announced at Thursday's press conference.
The ceremonial opening of the first vintage will take place on 15 March, simultaneously at five different locations, with an aim to establish a tradition. Beside Eger, wine presentations will be held in Budapest, Debrecen, Érsekújvár and in Eger’s Finnish sister city in Pori.
At the event, on 8 April, 13 winemakers will offer 46 kinds of wines. (MTI)
