Hungarian lager beer was awarded for the first time at the World Beer Idol Czech Beer Competition
Hungary’s Szent András Brewery has returned home with prizes from one of Europe’s most prestigious professional beer competition, the World Beer Idol in the Czech Republic.
The Szent András Brewery won three bronze medals. The brewery’s Monarchista imperial pilsner, the Málnás Búza (Raspberry Wheat) made of real fruit and the limited edition feast potion of the Esthajnal ’17 won the bronze medals. The Szent András Brewery competed against competitors such as the Czech Svijany, Belgian Huyghe Brewery or the German Schwarzbräu.
