Theory and practice
As part of the National Values Book Series, The Great Wine Book – 1000 Hungarian Wineries is published before Christmas. The nearly 800-page book with colour photos is the first comprehensive Hungarian wine almanac, which was compiled by wine writers Zoltán Bihari, Imre Dlusztus, Dániel Ercsey and Sándor Viniczai.
A smartphone app called Kóstolom has also been developed and it targets wine tourists. It informs them about them about food, wine and accommodation offers in Hungary’s 22 wine regions and Budapest.
