Corn yield in Tolna is lower than expected

Corn yield is lower than expected in Tolna county, harvest not yet completed in more than one tenth of the plantation area.

According to the November datas of the Tolna County Government Office; 94,105 hectares has been harvested from the 110,654 hectares of corn crop area of, with a crop yield per hectare of 7.4 tons, that is a half ton lower than in the last year and almost 1 ton below the expectations – reports MTI.
