There will not be unified tax key on cafeteria
The drastic burden on cafteria will not be realized. the current 35.7 percent tax remains – in a slightly different form.
The original plan was to standardize the different food vouchers as well as to tax other non-wage benefits, due to the pressure from Brussels. The unification would have meant a tax increase at the same time.
According to the latest version, there is no unified key, and there will be no tax increases, but there is a new restriction. Every year up to 200 thousand HUF (a monthly 16,666 HUF amount) the system remains the same, but above this level, the preferential benefits van be only given on Széchenyi Rest Cards.
