The basic map of the country’s ecosystem has been completed
A basic map of Hungary’s ecosystem has been completed, which presents and assesses the state of the country’s natural systems – the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) said at a press conference in Budapest on Monday.
Balczó Bertalan emphasized that the base map fits, among other things, with the European-level ecosystem map and provides a basis for estimating ecosystem services. It also provides a basic map for assessing the current state of green infrastructure, its structure, and planning for improvements, including mapping of recovery tasks. (MTI)
