The first E-Mail Marketing Report was prepared
90 percent of active Internet users read approved commercial e-mail messages with an interesting subject, but an informal addressing is not always an advantage – reveals the E-Mail Marketing Report of KutatóCentrum, having conducted a survey involving 12,000 Internet users. KutatóCentrum’s research leader Enikő Barcza told us that the survey aimed at helping companies to organise their e-mail campaigns. Krisztina Fialka, media sector manager of Maxima online direct marketing system revealed that 10 percent of main e-mail addresses are abandoned in 1-2 years. Therefore, database maintenance is of utmost importance. Active Internet users are open to prize games and 80 percent of them already participated in several of these. When registering, 82 percent provide genuine personal data.
