Subsidies in 2013

Last year there were more than 177,000 applications for subsidies from the single area payment scheme (SAPS), for more than 5 million hectares of land. By 18 February 2014 170,070 applicants received HUF 312.7 billion in funding – this means that 92 percent of the total subsidy payments have already been made.
