Rising food prices are inevitable
The drastic and steady rise in prices in the cereals market since the end of last year is also affecting the entire livestock sector, given that some feed grains have become 30-50 percent more expensive by the beginning of this year compared to a year ago. This also affects the prices of all products of animal origin – Éder Tamás told InfoRádió. In animal husbandry, two-thirds of the cost depends in part on the price of feed, especially grain.
