“Christmas reaches everyone this year: with joint efforts, even a small donation can go a long way – is the focus of our 2024 Joy of Giving! initiative. Our holiest holiday, Christmas, is coming soon, which unfortunately for many of our fellow human beings is not about excited preparation or buying gifts, but about everyday financial struggles. With our strategic partner, the Joy of Giving! We would like to make their holiday more beautiful through our fundraising campaign for the 28th year. A huge thank you goes to our customers who help make the holiday of our disadvantaged people more beautiful, whether with a single package of food or even with the lowest value donation card”
– emphasized Márk Maczelka, Head of Communications at SPAR Hungary.
“The Joy of Giving! campaign is the most important event of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service this year, which affects the entire country, thousands of volunteers participate in the collection, and the gift packages reach families in need even in remote settlements. The Christmas campaign combines the dual mission of the Charity Service, as it is not only about supporting those in need, but also gives tens of thousands of people the opportunity to do good at a given moment and help our fellow citizens in need”
– said Tamás Romhányi, Head of Communications at the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service.
