The collection of NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto capsules in MediaMarkt has started
In March this year, Nestlé will launch a new capsule collection and recycling system for NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto capsules, so it can take another significant step towards achieving a circular economy by working with the company’s consumers. For the time being, coffee fans can dispose of their used capsules at five designated MediaMarkt stores, but the company is constantly expanding its list of collection points.
Nestlé aims to ensure that no packaging material is disposed of in a landfill and that all its packaging is circulated. The new program is part of Nestlé’s global commitment to make all its packaging materials recyclable or reusable by 2025 and to reduce the use of newly manufactured plastics in its packaging by a third.
