Facebook Shops launched
Facebook has launched its Facebook Shops service, which small businesses can use to start an online shop that users can reach from both Facebook and Instagram. Depending on the size of the enterprise, the service is free and it isn’t complicated at all.
Shoppers can reach these shops via the Facebook pages or the Instagram accounts of the enterprises. Customers can contact the shop owners by sending messages on WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram Direct. At the moment the ‘live shopping’ function is in a test phase: products are presented in live videos and viewers can order them directly from the app.
