We have reached implementation
The legal aspects of electronic invoicing, the IT background of electronic archives, the operation of the GS1/Perfekt data bank, the system of working out a common business language, the harmonisation of basic data and other topics were all discussed in detail during the conference about electronic invoicing.
Price competition is going to get tougher next year than ever before and retailers are going to earn less. This can be compensated by the introduction of fully electronic invoicing and registration of orders – said Stefan Skopp of Metro stores.
– We are no longer arguing about legislation, only minor changes are left to be made. – he added.
At the moment T-Systems is the best known name in this field, but Synergon, Docca and Seeburger – all with a strong foreign background – are also ready to enter this market. These companies will be able to offer tailor made solutions to electronic invoicing needs, once the market takes off.
