Reaching the limits of growth
This year’s Anuga broke all records. A total of 163,000 accredited guests were registered from 175 countries. There were 6 607 exhibitors from 95 countries. 83 per cent of the exhibitors were foreigners, showing the international character of the event. According to Márta Kakuk, the Hungarian representative of Köln Messe, over a 100 companies which had submitted their applications in time but have not been accepted remain on a waiting list and will appear at the next Anuga. The basic concept behind Anuga is „Ten specialised exhibitions under the same roof”. All copies of our special edition, Trade Magazin Global have been sold.
