The antibiotic use reporting system is available for the monthly data provision of farms
Veterinarians and their representatives can once again use the system for reporting antibiotic use, which has been expanded with new functions. Wholesalers of veterinary medicinal products with antibiotic active ingredients will soon be able to upload their annual report at the end of the second phase of development.
Nébih’s antibiotic use reporting system has been enriched with several new functions to improve data quality and make filling in easier, which veterinarians and their representatives of animal farms can use again from today. From now on, among other things, the system gives a warning message if they try to record data with an incorrect breeding code, it is possible to copy previous reports, and the authorized persons can choose from a drop-down list which breeding data they currently want to upload. Although the EU only has to provide data on the use of antibiotics, at the request of users it was also possible to record “zero reporting”. In the case of farms, those concerned can record the reports for January – instead of the 15th – until the end of February.
Wholesalers submit an annual summary of the distribution of antibiotic-active veterinary medicinal products by March of each year. In their case, the system is closed for the time being, and they will be able to upload their report after the activation of the second phase of the development, about which they will receive separate information.
