Analysts: employment can only be increased with serious training and wage increases
According to the report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) between the December 2018 – Febrary 2019 three-month period from, the average number of employees was 4 497 thousand, 56 thousand more than a year before.
In the 20-64 age group, the number of employees increased by 35,000, the employment rate increased by 1.1 percentage points, to 75.0 percent, thus reaching the European Union’s target for 2020. The unemployment rate was 3.6 percent, 0.1 percentage point lower than the previous three-month average. (MTI)
