Analysts: the rise in retail sales may continue in the coming months
Growth in retail sales may continue in the coming months. Takarékbank expects a 4.5 percent, while ING expects a 4.7 percent growth.
According to the first estimate published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday, retail sales in July were 4.1 percent higher than in the previous year, both raw and calendar-adjusted. In January-July, traffic grew by 4.0 percent, according to the raw data, and the calendar effect adjusted indicator showed a 3.9 percent increase, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
