Analysts: the rate of wage growth will not slow this year
A similar rise in wages over the past three years is expected this year, mainly as a result of a shortage of experts and 8 – 8 percent increase in the minimum wage and guaranteed minimum wage.
According to the data of the KSH, earnings increased by 10.6 percent in January compared to a year before. Calculated with 2.7 percent inflation, real earnings were 7.7 percent higher than in last January. The gross average wage was 354,200 forints without calculating the earnings of the public employees.
