Analysts: retail trade may grow by 5-6 percent this year
The macro-analysts of the Savings Bank and the K & H banks expect for a further sustained growth in retail sales. For the whole year a 5-6 percent growth is expected on the basis of the September retail data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to the first estimates of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the volume of retail sales on an annual basis increased by 5.1 percent in September after a 4.6 percent rise in August. The calendar effect adjusted volume of retail trade increased by 3.0 percent in of food trade, 6.9 percent in non-food retailing, and by 6.1 percent in fuel retailing. (MTI)
