Analysts: this year’s economic growth will generate consumption
This year started well in retail according to analysts interviewed by MTI, who believe that GDP growth this year will be mainly generated by increasing household consumption.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday announced that the January volume of retail turnover according to the raw data increased by 4.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. Calendar effect adjusted, the growth was 3.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. The data shows a revival after the 2.8 and 3.3 percent increase of December last year. (MTI)
