Analysts: the better than expected GDP data can improve the economic performance of the entire year
The growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter was significantly higher than the expectations of the analysts, so the average performance of this year can be better than the previous projections – according to experts interviewed by MTI.
According to the most recent notification of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 2.6 percent in the second quarter, compared to the same period of the previous year after a 0.9 percent rise in the first quarter. The data greatly surpasses the expectations of the analysts, which was 2.1 percent. (MTI)
