Analysts: growth this year may be higher than last year’s

Analysts expect retail sales to grow more than last year
According to the latest report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the turnover of retail stores increased by 6.2 percent in December last year, 6.7 per ent according to raw data, and by 3.5 percent for the whole year, according to both raw and adjusted data. In December, the calendar-adjusted volume of sales in food and food-type stores increased by 2.7 percent, in non-food retail trade by 8.7 percent and in fuel retail trade by 11.5 percent year-on-year.
