Analysts: the increase in earnings is lagging behind expectations
The August growth rate of earnings lags behind analysts’ expectations, but according to them, a steady rise is expected in the labor market, but the rising of real wage growth is slowing down due to rising inflation – analysts told MTI commenting the latest wage statistics report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to figures published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday morning, gross average wages in August were 321 172 forints, the net average wages were 213 579 forints, which is 10.1 percent more than a year before. In the first eight months of the year, earnings grew by 11.8 percent, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
