Analysts: retail sales in December dcclined due to epidemiological restrictions
Due to restrictions imposed due to the second wave of the pandemic, such as restrained Christmas gift purchases in the absence of large family gatherings, retail sales in December last year declined – analysts told MTI.
According to the report of the Centrral Statistical Office (KSH), retail sales decreased by 0.2 percent last year, after a 3.2 percent decrease in sales, and a 4.0 percent decrease in calendar effect adjusted sales, compared to a year before. (MTI)
