Analysts: growth can be around 4 percent this year
The growth of the Hungarian economy has slowed, but fell short of the expected pace in the second quarter – in line with the expectations, but the expansion could again be around 4 percent in the whole year – according to bank analysts interviewed by MTI.
According to the first estimate published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday, gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 3.2 percent in the second quarter compared to the same period of last year. GDP grew 3.7 percent in the first half of the year, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
